Hello travelers and book lovers!
As someone who has traveled to 50 countries around the world, people always ask me: “Anni, you have seen so much of the world, but what is your own country actually like?”
Today, I am so excited to finally take you on a journey to the place where I have built my life, raised my four beautiful children, and where my own story unfolds: Denmark.
Living Between Two Worlds
If you know my story, you know that my life has been shaped by two very different and beautiful cultures. I have Thai rødder (roots), but Denmark is the place I call home. Living between these two worlds has taught me that cultural differences don’t separate us—they are bridges that connect us.
Denmark is a small Scandinavian country, but it holds a huge place in my heart. It is a land of beautiful architecture, deep history, and a very unique way of living.

The beautiful, colorful houses of Nyhavn in Copenhagen—one of my favorite places to walk and feel the history of Denmark.
The Land of Green Energy and Cozy Moments
When you visit Denmark, one of the first things you will notice is how modern and green it is. We love nature, and we love protecting our planet. If you drive along our coastlines or look out at the ocean, you will see thousands of massive windmills spinning in the wind.

But beyond the green energy and the modern cities, Denmark is famous for something called “Hygge.” It is a word that is hard to translate, but it means creating a warm, cozy atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with the people you love. For me, as a single mother, hygge is all about making hot cocoa with my four children, lighting candles on a rainy day, and sharing stories together.
The Adventure is Just Beginning
Writing my book series, Story (including The Daughter of Two Cultures), and sharing my travel videos across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok has always been about one thing: inspiring you to see the world with an open heart.
Denmark has taught me so much about trust, family, and community, and I cannot wait to share much more of it with you right here on my brand new blog.
Thank you so much for being a part of my global family.
